After the NCAA announced last week it would investigate Michigan State for how it handled complaints against former sports medicine doctor Larry Nassar, athletic director Mark Hollis said the university was “preparing a comprehensive response.” David Ridpath, a sports law expert and associate professor at Ohio University, knows Ianni, has high praise for him and said he would be “stunned” to hear he had any involvement in mishandling sexual assault complaints. However, he still thinks Michigan State could benefit from fresh blood.
