Shane Bouman has been relieved of his duties as head coach of the Indiana State University softball program, Director of Athletics Sherard Clinkscales announced Monday. Bouman finishes with a 118-172 record in six-plus seasons at the helm. “Over the last year, Coach Bouman and I had multiple discussions and came to a mutual understanding concerning the management of the softball program,” Clinkscales said. “I have learned that these standards have not been upheld.” Leadership of the program on an interim basis will be determined in the coming days. –tribstar.comRead More
