Erin Kido has been named Eastern Michigan University’s interim vice president and director of intercollegiate athletics, EMU President James M. Smith announced today, May 18. She begins the new role May 20 while the university completes a national search to select a new intercollegiate athletics director. Kido is in her third year as the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Administration for EMU’s  athletic department. EMU is currently in the midst of a nationwide search for the next vice president/director of athletics with the objective of completing the process and having a new athletic director in place this summer. Kido along with University General Counsel Gloria Hage are co-chairing the Search Committee that will be instrumental in determining the finalist candidates. –Read More
