Fans of college athletics now have a new venue for catching the action. The Eastern College Athletic Conference has launched the ECAC Network, a streaming platform that includes live sports action, as well as other sports, campus and lifestyle entertainment. Developed in partnership with Media Realm, the ECAC Network is a web-based application that may be accessed on mobile devices. The network will be free to users during its initial launch phase. It will include the latest streaming technology for live and on-demand content, and community engagement through social media. “The ECAC Network is a big step forward in delivering a compelling experience for fans across the conference and a powerful tool for our member schools to amplify their sports and campus experiences,” Dan Coonan, ECAC commissioner, said in a statement. “Bringing to life rich campus cultures and dynamic social media engagement really symbolizes what this conference has always been about.” –  Chris Bosak, newstimes.comRead More
